Yes. Your e-bike comes with a charger. We can also advise on charging and battery swap options.
Repayment periods vary by program—typically 12 to 18 months for Fleet programs. We’ll confirm your term when you apply.
Contact us as soon as possible. We work with customers to avoid disruption. Late fees may apply as per your agreement.
Fleet Courier
Make a 20,000 KES deposit, then pay daily from your deliveries. Plans run 12–18 months depending on the bike selected.
For Fleet Taxi
Make a 25,000 KES deposit, then pay daily from your rides. The plan runs 18 months with flexible extensions if needed.
Fleet Courier
Valid ID, income proof (12 months M-PESA or bank statements), and 2 guarantors. No taxi permit is required for courier riders. Most applications approved within 24 hours.
For Fleet Taxi
Valid ID, income proof (12 months M-PESA or bank statements), and 2 guarantors. Fleet Taxi also requires motorcycle license and taxi permit. Most applications approved within 24 hours.
Fleet programs
Account status with Bolt is separate from Jiwambe. Contact us with your situation and we can advise on eligibility.
You join a Fleet program (Courier or Taxi), get a bike on a daily payment plan, and earn through deliveries or rides. We handle insurance and maintenance.
Fleet Courier requires a 20,000 KES deposit; Fleet Taxi requires 25,000 KES. Exact amounts are confirmed at application.
Yes. Jiwambe is a registered company. We partner with licensed operators and follow local regulations.
Fleet Courier is delivery-focused; Fleet Taxi is ride-hailing. We can discuss which program fits you and alternative options.

Fleet vs direct purchase

Fleet includes financing plus access to delivery or ride-hailing work. Direct purchase is buying the bike outright—you own it and find your own work.
Vehicle performance
Our e-bikes are built for mixed use. Load limits and suitability for specific terrains depend on the model—we’ll advise when you apply.
Yes. Multiple swap stations are available across Nairobi. Your e-bike is compatible with standard swap networks. View station map on our website for locations.
Requirements depend on the vehicle and program. Fleet Taxi requires a motorcycle license; we’ll confirm what you need when you apply.
Insurance & upgrades
Fleet Courier
Yes. After 4 months of on-time payments you can upgrade to a motorbike or add a second bike.
For Fleet Taxi
Yes. After 6 months of on-time payments you can switch to a newer bike or explore our courier program.
Fleet program
Yes. With Fleet Courier and Fleet Taxi, insurance and roadside assistance/maintenance are bundled so you can focus on earning.
For direct purchase
Yes for e-motorbikes. Other products have optional insurance you can add.
